Over dinner with H-face I got an update on the neuroses of her family's dog - an Italian Spinoni who was the runt of the litter. Accordingly, he's had lots of health problems and now he's going mental.
He's had gastroenteritis, heart problems, caw problems, hip problems, an op on his hind leg, a trip to the specialisy cainine cardiac hospital and needs to take an assortment of medication every day. On top of all this, the family have recently discovered that as well as being sickly and generally not the brightest of sparks he's scared of University Challenge.
Yes, you read right, the family can now no longer watch the nations favorite quiz show becouse their giant gun dog is scared of the buzzers on University Challenge. Every time a buzzer goes off he runs to the furthest corner of the room and shakes with terror.
Cats rule.
