today is world AIDS day

Support World AIDS Day

  1. Yet intriguingly, most of our press have decided to ignore this chance to raise peoples' awareness of the problems facing our society and instead are focussing on the private life of our Home Secretary.

You know, it's at times like this I wish I had an AK-47 and could climb up on the roofs overlooking all the newspaper offices and let loose. I loathe our national press...

  2. Well, francly the Aids problem is old news. No journalist is going to boost their carear with an article about a problem that most of the UK thinks has nothing to do with them.

It is exactly this kind of complacency that has lead to the epidemic in Africa and the rest of the 3rd world. People simply do not believe it can or will happen to them. No one takes the problem seriously.
